AXLE GUITARS FAQs

How long does a setup take?

A standard setup typically takes 48–72 hours from the time you drop off your guitar. This allows us to restring, clean, adjust action and intonation, and let the instrument settle before final checks. Turnaround may be faster if our bench is clear, or slightly longer during busy periods, but we’ll always confirm a realistic timescale with you when you book in. If you need it urgently, just ask — we can sometimes arrange a priority service.

Do you work on acoustics and electrics?

Yes — all guitars are welcome. Whether it’s an acoustic, an electric, or even a semi-hollow, we can set it up, service it, or restore it. Each type of guitar requires slightly different attention, but the end goal is always the same: a smooth, comfortable, great-sounding instrument that inspires you to play more.

Are coaching sessions online or in person?

all coaching sessions are online only. This comes with some big benefits: every session can be recorded and saved, meaning you’ll always have the ability to rewatch your lesson, review feedback, and track your progress. Online sessions also mean we can fit lessons flexibly around your schedule, no matter where you’re based. giving you even better value for money than normal guitar lessons.

What if I can’t make a session?

Life happens — we get it. If you can’t make a scheduled session, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice so we can reschedule without losing that slot. Any cancellations within 48 hours are counted as a completed session, so giving early notice means we can make sure you don’t lose out. so no refunds on missed lessons cancelled last minuite

Can I get my guitar collected/dropped off?

Yes —local collection and delivery is available for a fee. Just mention this in your enquiry and we’ll provide a quote based on your location. Please note: at this time, we only offer collection and deliverywithin Essex, UK. If you’re outside this area, you’ll need to arrange drop-off yourself.
